SAMAGRA is an in-house software application conceived, designed and developed by Samastipur/Sonpur Division, East Central Railway, free of cost; primarily for bringing expedition, transparency and ease of working for Railwaymen, in addition to information dissemination for general public at large. Comprehensive information related to all the stations of Samastipur/Sonpur division, some of the frequently used rules of Railways and Parcel rate calculator are few features open for all in this mobile application. At the same time, field staffs like TTEs, GSs, DCIs and CSs can use the application with their respective IDs and Passwords to enter information related to their daily working. A web application have also been developed to generate all sorts of above reports, along with office management data; having access to few admins.
